Terms and Conditions

These terms are the agreement between you and Ekayan Consultancy Private Limited (“KidzControl”, “we”, “us”) for your use of the KidzControl app and website.
Please read them carefully. By using KidzControl, you agree to these terms. We’ve written them as plainly as we can, but they are a real agreement with real effect.
Who Can Use KidzControl
To use KidzControl, you must be 18 or older and be the parent or legal guardian of the child whose device you set it up on.
By using KidzControl, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are the parent or legal guardian of the child whose Android device you’re managing.
- You have the legal authority to manage that device and consent to the collection of information described in our Privacy Policy.
- You will use KidzControl only to support the safety and wellbeing of your own minor child.
Acceptable Use
KidzControl is a parental control and family safety tool. It is designed to be used openly, on your own child’s device, with your child’s awareness.
You agree to use KidzControl:
- Only on the device of a minor child for whom you are the parent or legal guardian.
- Lawfully and in accordance with the laws that apply where you live, including laws concerning monitoring and consent.
You must not:
- Use KidzControl to monitor, track, or record an adult or anyone who is not your own minor child.
- Use KidzControl to secretly monitor someone in an unlawful way.
- Copy, resell, reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
- Attempt to circumvent the app’s security.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Using KidzControl against another person or for an unlawful purpose is a serious violation of these terms and may also violate applicable law.
The anti-misuse provisions are specifically intended to reinforce KidzControl’s positioning as a parental-control product rather than a surveillance tool.
Your License
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use KidzControl for your own family’s use, subject to these terms.
We and our licensors retain ownership of the app, its software, and its content.
This license does not allow you to sell, share, sublicense, or commercially exploit KidzControl.
Subscriptions & Payment
KidzControl offers a subscription with a free trial.
Free Trial
New accounts include a 7-day free trial with all features, and no card is required to start.
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed through Google Play using the payment method associated with your Google account. Prices are shown in your local currency at checkout.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. The renewal price is the price shown when you subscribed.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play. Your access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Refunds
Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.
Your Responsibilities
When you use KidzControl, you agree to:
- Provide accurate account information.
- Keep your login credentials and parent PIN secure.
- Use the service openly and responsibly with your child.
- Take responsibility for the rules and settings you choose for your family.
- Follow the laws that apply to you.
You are responsible for activity under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, please contact us.
Devices & Third-Party Services
KidzControl runs on your child’s Android device and depends on the device, its operating system, settings, and internet connection.
The service also relies on third-party services, including Google Play for app distribution and billing.
We don’t control those services or devices, and changes to them may affect how KidzControl works.
What KidzControl Can and Can't Promise
We work hard to make KidzControl reliable and effective, but no parental control tool can guarantee a child’s safety or prevent every possible risk.
Devices, networks, software, and individual circumstances vary. Determined users may also find workarounds.
KidzControl is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
It is a tool designed to support your parenting, not a replacement for your involvement, judgment, or conversations with your child.
The source explicitly requires this honest limitation and non-overpromising position
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KidzControl and Ekayan Consultancy Private Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including harm that a parental-control tool did not prevent.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KidzControl and Ekayan Consultancy Private Limited from claims arising from:
- Your misuse of the service.
- Your violation of these terms.
- Your unlawful use of KidzControl.
- Your use of KidzControl against anyone other than your own minor child.
Suspending or Ending Access
We may suspend or terminate your access to KidzControl if you violate these terms, particularly the rules concerning eligibility and acceptable use.
You can stop using KidzControl and cancel your subscription at any time.
Certain provisions, including those concerning liability and indemnification, may continue after your account ends.
Changes to KidzControl & These Terms
We may update KidzControl and these terms from time to time.
If we make significant changes, we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know, such as through email or a notice in the app or on the website.
Continuing to use KidzControl after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
